Established on September 15, 1987,
NAPEI represents all levels of private
educational institutions in Malaysia.
The founding of NAPEI sought to
unite private educational institutions
from the smallest to the biggest. With
an initial registration of 26 members,
NAPEI currently has a membership
strength of 70 institutions. During
this period of phenomenal growth of
private education, which refl ects our
Government’s vision of promoting
Malaysia as a regional centre of
educational excellence and thus,
reducing the outfl ow of educational
expenditure outside of Malaysia,
NAPEI together with the support from
the Ministry of Education and other
Government agencies continue to
represent the cause of local private
educational institutions. It seeks:
