The objective of establishment is to fulfill the demand for skilled manpower at higher level particularly the industrial sector by providing continual industrial training opportunities to the existing workforce to upgrade their skills. Hence, it will address the issue of shortage of highly-skilled manpower in the industrial sector.

OBJECTIVE
The objective of establishing ADTEC Kulim is to continuously produce highly skilled manpower in the fields of advanced technology by upgrading the quality of skills of the skilled manpower in industrial sector as well as to provide opportunities for school leavers to acquire skill training in enhancing job opportunities.

We are fully equipped with the latest version of machines and equipment for the purpose of training. Our facilities are actual equipment used by the industries and students have many opportunities of exposure to these machines in their training sessions. Our graduates will not face major difficulties in working and adapting into the industry right after their graduations because the training itself has been designed to match with the industry and concentrate on hands-on application besides the actual technical knowledge.
FIELDS' OF EXPERTISE / PROGRAMMES OFFERED
ADTEC Kulim offers six courses in Diploma level. The courses are:-
Diploma in Mechatronic Technology?
The course is a combination of mechanical and electronic technology focusing on automation system as robotic. The course objective is to train students to enable them to use various systems such as electro-hydraulic, electrical and electronics systems, automation system and robotic.? Students also will be trained to design, develop, modify and upgrade system or equipments that are used in manufacturing and processing.
Diploma in Telecommunication Technology
This course is designed to equip students with knowledge and skill in designing, handling and managing telecommunication system and equipment.?The course curriculum includes basic telecommunication network system, PABX, analog system and usage of the latest technology such as wireless, fibre optics and telecommunication network maintenance. This course also covers handling techniques and managing Customer Access Network to identify customer system failure.
Diploma in Electronics Technology
The course is developed to equip student with knowledge and skill to handle and maintain industrial electronics system and equipment such as testing and calibration of equipment, automation system and industrial computer network. The course curriculum includes specialised electronics such as digital and analog as well as basic automation control which is the latest platform use in industry. Furthermore, this course also covers the subject on management and supervisory skill.
Diploma in Computer Networking Technology
In this course, student will be exposed to computer structure, network system, management system and documentation. Besides technical skill, the student is also required to learn common subjects in addition to the existing technical subject.
Diploma in Manufacturing Technology
This course is designed to equip students with knowledge and skills in designing, handling and managing system or equipment used in Manufacturing Technology. This course contains duties with wide scope and various contexts according to the country?s industrial development and latest technology.
Diploma in Production Technology
This course offers training in using various types of cutting machines and CAD/CAM/CNC, which are the latest technology in terms of equipment and software. This course is focused on planning and design, producing jigs and fixtures, tool, dye and mould. The training also includes productions technology, material technology and tool production management.
