CEDR Corporate Consulting Sdn Bhd (CEDR) was registered as a training provider on 15 March, 1995 with registration number 0191/A0043. CEDR was incorporated in 1997 as an operating company specialising in training consultancy under the Lion Group. One of its departments, the Lion Corporate Excellence Centre functions as the head office for human resource development.

With an excellent understanding of the HRD needs of companies in the Lion Group and other local and multinational industries, CEDR serves as a development centre committed to enhancing and maintaining professional management standards; and upgrade the quality of training and development of human resources by using competency-based training and education with the Training and Further Education, South Australia (TAFESA). The company complies with ISO 9000 requirements.
CEDR is committed to building a competent and qualified workforce for the Malaysian industry. To achieve this objective, we have a strategic alliance with the Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology, South Australia (DEFEEST) which comprises ten DEFEEST institutes offering more than 300 vocational / technical training programmes using the competency-based approach. Accreditation from the Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology, South Australia (DEFEEST)
Since 17 October 1996, CEDR is the only non- Australian training provider that has been granted accreditation status for the CBTE Specialist Certification Programme from the South Australian Department of Further Education, Employment, Science and Technology (DEFEEST). This means that candidates who successfully complete the assessment in the workplace will be granted the Australian qualification. This is a special programme in Malaysia that provides competency assessment for Instructors, Programme Developers and Assessors.

HRDC – Approved Training Provider
CEDR was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation by HRDC in 2001 for our active contribution to training the Malaysian workforce.
CEDR was appointed by HRDC’s SME Division as the Training Provider for Train The Trainer and Evaluation on The Effectiveness of Training Programme.
