In this era of Technology and Quality evaluation, the need for any organisation to survive and succeed demand pragmatic development and constant upgrading of their greatest asset – people. Human capital is considered as a crucial component in the nation’s effort to achieve a developed nation status by 2020. One of the ways to achieve this is through continuous Human Capital development, innovation and investment in new training and education programmes. In view of this need, SIRIM Berhad has established SIRIM Training Services Sdn. Bhd. (STS) to meet the growing demand for Technology and Quality Human Capital development for industries. STS is a registered training provider under the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB).
Incorporated on 27th September 1997 as a wholly owned subsidiary of SIRIM Berhad, the company was formerly known as Technology Dissemination Unit and originally established under the Technology Transfer Division of SIRIM Berhad to upgrade the technological skills and capabilities of local industries. This is realised through the organising of courses, seminars, workshops, conferences and in-house training programmes. With over 30 years of experience, SIRIM Berhad has been providing technology and quality related services backed by a pool of experienced team of trainers and consultants.

We have more than 500 in-house trainers and consultants mainly trained in Europe, USA, Japan, Korea and other advanced foreign countries with vast experience in servicing the Malaysian industries since late 1960s. Their expertise encompasses areas from advanced manufacturing, advanced materials, automation & robotics, engineering & testing, electrical & electronic testing, industrial biotechnology & chemical process, environmental technology, intellectual property, metrology, standards development, quality systems, incubators and entrepreneur development programmes.
