RM100m to train jobless graduates

Beginning this month RM100 million will be spent on training unemployed graduates. Human Resources Minister Datuk Dr Fong Chan Onn said 200 training centres has been set up nationwide for 15,000 unemployed graduates where each trainee would be paid monthly allowance of RM350 for the courses which will vary between four to six months. These courses which will focus on English and communication are designed to enable graduates to speak and write in the language and to provide them with knowledge on marketing and management.

To qualify, the graduates should register with Labour departments in their respective states in the next two weeks.
