The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) boasts its proud status of being the world’s oldest provident fund. Being an organization of highest maturity, EPF has fully explored various strategies that further protected its role in protecting the contributions of employees. This eventually led to the management’s decision that members’ interests would be further enhanced through higher level of professionalism in leadership and management. Hence, the EPF decided to broaden the scope of its internal training division and to elevate its status into an actual training institution. Thus, in year 1995, the Employees Provident Fund Social Security Training Institute, otherwise known as ESSET, was born.

ESSET is the acronym for EPF Social Security Training Institute. ESSET’s main focus is to train and develop EPF’s staff, which will lead to enhance the knowledge and skills so that they are competent to produce results expected of them to fulfi ll EPF’s vision and mission. With respect to the awareness on the unique role in training as well as a social security organisation that is of worldclass calibre, ESSET subsequently sets for itself the task of achieving the highest level of excellence in the field of training.

Facilities have been offered to public; by eventually renting out the training facilities and services at excellent level. At the same time, our clientele agrees to rate us as excellent. ESSET possesses a self-sufficient nature, equipped with modern facilities and amenities. ESSET rents out its training facilities to any interested parties. Facilities that are offered include the multipurpose hall, seminar rooms, lecture rooms, small rooms for syndicated discussions and a moot court. Accommodation in the form of single or double occupancy rooms and apartments are also provided. The rentals are packaged for the half and full day use. The packages are on flexible basis to include requests for accommodation, food and refreshments. ESSET will entertain any enquiries in regards to the training facilities and can also accommodate suitable budget.
