Employees Provident Fund (EPF) contributors can now use their savings in Account Two to finance their own or their children?s education in three additional types of courses.

The courses are the Malaysian Flying Academy commercial pilot license professional course (recognized by the Civil Aviation Department), National Vocational Training Council Level 4 and Level 5 skills courses and the Malaysian Maritime Academy?s deck officer and Maritime Engineer Course.

Previously, the EPF Education Withdrawal Scheme only catered for diploma-level courses and above, or for their children pursuing degree level courses.
The changes in rules today at the EPF are in response to the dynamic changes and demands of the job market and the members? call for more options under the scheme.
